Nemus anima is a one man metal project.

It combines elements of black, death and thrash metal into a melodic and atmospheric experience.

The debut album "hatred embodiment"

was published in 2023, December.

Nemus anima's music is raw, dark, primitive and even emotional

and beautiful. Not overly polished sound gives a listener

an authentic listening experience.

HISTORY

I started to play guitar when I was eight. That's when I got my first electric guitar.

My dad first taught me and later on I took few lessons as well.

I jammed with my dad music that he was "force feeding" me, stuff like The eagles, CCR,

The shadows and songs from a Finnish band called The agents which is similar style to The shadows.

My first real metal band was called Eternally damned. The band was formed around 2004.

We were four piece group and my job was to play the guitar and growl.

It was a good run and everybody was involved in song writing/ideas. We did some gigs at

youth clubs and bars. After we decided to go separate ways I formed another group

with my friend who played a guitar as well. We were basically a garage band.

We played together over 10 years and didn't do any single performance!

I know why we didn't make any progress but I don't want to talk bad things

here about my former band mates.

Somewhere around 2019 I joined a band called Wolftopia. And the debut album 'ways of the pack' was

published in 2021. We made a record deal.. well more like a distribution/marketing deal. We had the album done and we had to pay quite lot of money to that company to press/distribute our CD and music digitally.

The dream of being a rock star had died a long time ago but the passion for writing music still lives.

So the name Nemus anima was born in 2023 when I published my debut album.

I'm still learning new things about mixing every day and quality of the music will evolve after every album.
